Born and raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Sam M. has spent her entire life loving animals of all kinds - but especially dogs. Sam M. shares her home with 2 of her own pups (Kylo and Harley) and 3 cats. With a passion for helping others, she got her degree in Social Work from Salisbury University in 2022. However, she found K9 Heeling in January 2023, and quickly started a new chapter after becoming DayPlay Manager. After holding that position for 7 months, Sam M. was ecstatic to continue her love for helping others alongside dogs of all kinds in the position as General Manager.

When not thriving at K9 Heeling, Sam M. spends her time finding joy in her faith, getting engrossed in a good book, and planning adventures as a travel agent.
